Mac users may need to adjust their System Preferences if the font pack installer is blocked by Security & Privacy.
If your browser prompts you, choose to Save this file.MakeMusicFontsTT.pkg (Mac) or MMFonts.msi (Windows). Download the attached file for your platform at the bottom of this article. While this can happen for a number of reasons, it is often fixed by simply reinstalling the MakeMusic Font pack. This happens when Finale cannot locate the MakeMusic fonts on your computer. You may see question marks or odd looking symbols in place of the musical characters that should be in your music. From time to time musical symbols such as noteheads, clefs, and accidentals may be replaced by incorrect symbols.
